Ukraine's Air Force reported that Russia launched a massive overnight attack on July 24-25, firing two Kh-59/69 air-to-surface missiles and 157 drones. The attack began at 18:00 on July 24.

The missiles were launched from the Black Sea, while drones were launched from the Russian cities of Bryansk, Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk, as well as from temporarily occupied territories in Donetsk, Hvardiiske, and Chauda. The drones included Shahed (some jet-powered), Gerbera, Italmas, and Parodiya decoy UAVs.

As of 07:30 on July 25, Ukrainian air defenses had destroyed or jammed one Kh-59/69 missile and 127 Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and other types of drones in the northern, southern, eastern, and central regions of the country. The missile failed to reach its intended target.

Hits by 26 UAVs were recorded at nine locations, and debris from downed aerial assets fell at four additional locations. The Air Force warned that the attack is ongoing, with several enemy drones still in the airspace, urging people to observe safety measures.
