Ukrainian missile strike hits industrial plant in Russia's Samara region

An industrial enterprise in Russia's Samara region came under a Ukrainian missile strike overnight into Saturday, according to regional governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev.

The governor confirmed the strike but did not provide further details about which specific facility was affected, the extent of the damage, or whether there were any casualties.

Samara region lies in Russia's Volga area and hosts a number of significant industrial and energy facilities, including oil refining plants.
