Ukrainian defense forces have made gains in the Kupiansk district of the Kharkiv region, liberating more than 7 square kilometers of territory between the village of Zapadne and the settlement of Dvorichna. The news comes from the analytical project DeepState, citing a Facebook post by the "Khartiia" corps.

DeepState reported that Ukraine's armed forces have restored control over an area near Zapadne.

Khartiia's role

The "Khartiia" corps stated that the advance was the work of its own soldiers. According to the corps, during an operation in the Dvorichna district, foreign servicemen within Khartiia's R.U.G. unit cleared an area southwest of Dvorichna and took control of the northern part of the Zapadne settlement.

The report also notes that the soldiers cleared a forested area in the region. Khartiia representatives affirmed their intention to continue advancing, describing the progress as happening step by step, position by position.

Dvorichna is located in the northeastern part of the Kharkiv region, an area that has recently been one of the most active sections of the front line, with intense fighting ongoing.
