Ukraine Strikes Russian Strategic Military and Oil Facilities Deep Inside Russia
Ukrainian forces hit a military-industrial enterprise in the Penza region and an oil refinery in Ufa, both located far from the front line.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed that Ukrainian forces have carried out strikes on strategic Russian military and energy facilities. The attack targeted an enterprise in the Penza region that is part of the state space corporation Roscosmos and produces components for ballistic and cruise missiles. Zelensky noted that the facility is approximately 600 kilometers from the front line.
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian army struck the Ufa oil refinery for the second time. Located more than 1,300 kilometers from the front, the refinery is one of Russia’s largest lubricant producers and has been subject to international sanctions.
Penza region governor Oleg Melnichenko confirmed the strike but claimed that only debris from a downed drone damaged a power line and an unfinished building. According to him, there were no casualties.
