Ukrainian strike hits Russian anti-air missile plant

According to independent media outlet "Astra", a Ukrainian strike targeted the AVITEK plant in the city of Kirov, Russia, on Friday morning. The facility specializes in manufacturing surface-to-air guided missiles, target missiles, ejection seats, and aviation components.
Ukrainian monitoring channels also confirmed the attack. Alexander Sokolov, governor of the Kirov region, stated that a missile attack was directed at the city and hit the enterprise.
"Astra" reports that workers at the plant were likely not evacuated, raising the possibility of significant personnel casualties. AVITEK produces military, dual-use, and civilian products, including air defense systems and aviation parts.
