Reaching Moscow: How Ukrainian Drones Strike Oil Facilities and Eliminate Shahed Operators
Almost daily, Ukrainian drones target Russian oil refineries, military-industrial plants, and logistics hubs, causing fires. The drone campaign now extends to Moscow, while simultaneously wiping out Shahed drone operators.

According to reports from Ukrainian sources, Russian oil refineries, military-industrial complex facilities, and logistics hubs are hit and set ablaze nearly every day. These fires are the result of Ukrainian drone strikes, which have become increasingly frequent and precise.
A notable development is the drones reaching Moscow itself. The capital region has not been spared, as Ukrainian drones have demonstrated the ability to strike deep within Russian territory. This expansion of the operational zone poses a growing threat to Russia's critical infrastructure and its ability to maintain normal operations.
At the same time, Ukrainian drones are actively targeting and eliminating operators of Shahed drones. These operators are responsible for piloting the Iranian-made unmanned aerial vehicles used by Russia to attack Ukraine. By taking them out, Ukraine degrades Russia's capacity to conduct long-range strikes.
The ongoing drone campaign represents a clear escalation in the conflict, crossing borders with impunity. Despite Russian efforts to protect key facilities, Ukrainian technological advances and operational capabilities enable these deep strikes. This development could significantly impact the course of the war by weakening Russia's fuel supply and military production base.
