According to reports, up to 180 drones that were purportedly headed towards the Russian capital were shot down by air defense forces. The full scale of the attack and the extent of the damage are not yet known.
This is the latest in a series of Ukrainian drone strikes targeting Russian energy infrastructure. The Moscow oil refinery is a key fuel supplier for the region.
