Ukrainian oligarch accuses GUR of organizing assassination attempt in Monaco

Ukrainian tycoon Vadym Yermolayev has officially stated that an assassination attempt against him on the territory of Monaco was organized by the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry. He made this accusation in a letter distributed by his law firm. The news was first reported by the French newspaper “Nice-Matin”.

Details about the attack itself or the location have not been disclosed so far. Yermolayev is one of the most prominent Ukrainian businessmen who has been living abroad for a long time. His accusation could seriously damage the reputation of the Ukrainian intelligence services if evidence is found.
