Latvian national team forward Roberts Uldriķis featured for Arminia Bielefeld on Saturday as the club suffered a heavy 1-4 away defeat to league leaders Nürnberg in the third round of Germany's 2. Bundesliga.

The hosts took control before halftime, with Mohamed Sankoh (Zoma) and Tim Janis both scoring. Adams Marhijevs was the game's top scorer, netting once before the break and again in the second half to make it 4-0.

Uldriķis entered the match as a substitute in the 71st minute. Five minutes after his introduction, Arminia managed to pull one back through Marius Wörl, though it did not change the overall result.

With the loss, Arminia have collected three points from three matches and sit eighth in the standings. Last season, the club finished 13th out of 18 teams in Germany's second division.
