Driver fined twice in short period for speeding in Upeslejas

Police in Upeslejas recorded a case in which the same female driver was fined twice within a short period for speeding, according to the television programme "Degpunkta".

Upon receiving the second fine, the driver was displeased with the officers' handling of the situation and voiced her opinion about the permitted speed limit and the fining process. She expressed the view that if she is going to be fined regardless, she should be allowed to drive as fast as she wants.

The incident was captured on video and illustrates a situation in which a traffic violator openly voiced frustration with police work rather than acknowledging the violation.
