The US Open organizers have revealed the provisional entry list for the mixed doubles tournament, featuring an impressive lineup of tennis stars.

The standout pair is world No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus and Serbian legend Novak Djokovic. The 28-year-old Sabalenka has won four Grand Slam singles titles and has held the top ranking since October 2024. Djokovic, 39, holds the record with 24 Grand Slam singles trophies and is currently ranked fifth in the ATP standings.

Other notable pairs include Elena Rybakina (WTA No. 2, Kazakhstan) and Taylor Fritz (ATP No. 10, USA); Iga Swiatek (WTA No. 8, Poland) and Casper Ruud (ATP No. 13, Norway); Jessica Pegula (WTA No. 3, USA) and Jack Draper of Great Britain; and Taylor Townsend (USA) with Alexander Zverev (ATP No. 2, Germany).

Notably absent from the preliminary list are ATP No. 1 Jannik Sinner of Italy and No. 3 Carlos Alcaraz of Spain. Defending champions Sara Errani and Andrea Vavassori of Italy will try to retain their title. Meanwhile, the Wimbledon champions, Latvia's Alona Ostapenko and Marcelo Arevalo of El Salvador, are not included in the provisional field.

Registration for mixed doubles closes on August 17, and the tournament itself will be a two-day event with 16 pairs competing on August 25-26, five days before the singles competition begins.
