Oleksandr Usyk, who recently vacated all his world championship belts (WBA, WBC, and IBF), has named his opponent for what he calls his career's 'last dance.' According to BBC, a director from Usyk's team confirmed that the Ukrainian has selected former heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder for the fight.

Wilder's manager stated that if Wilder were offered a bout against Usyk, he would accept it. Reports indicate the match could take place in the United States, Wilder's home country.

Usyk started his career dominating the cruiserweight division before moving up to heavyweight, where he twice defeated both Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury. Wilder, on the other hand, has fought Fury three times in the heavyweight division: the first ended in a draw, and the subsequent two ended in losses for Wilder. He has never faced Joshua in the ring.
