Conductor Edgars Račevskis' archive donated to Latvian National Museum of Literature and Music – over 3,000 items
The personal archive of conductor, teacher, composer and chief conductor of the Song Festival Edgars Račevskis – more than 3,000 documents, photos, diaries and letters – has been donated to the museum by his daughter Ilze Ozoliņa. Museum researcher Ieva Ezeriete called the collection "a true dream of a museum worker".

Donation of a valuable collection
The Latvian National Museum of Literature and Music has received a significant addition – the personal archive of conductor, teacher, composer and chief conductor of the Song Festival Edgars Račevskis (1936–2022). Over 3,000 items – documents, photographs, diaries, letters and other testimonies of his life – were donated by his daughter Ilze Ozoliņa.
Museum researcher: "A true dream"
Museum researcher, former soloist of the Latvian Radio Choir, soprano Ieva Ezeriete, in an interview with Latvian Radio 3 Klasika described the collection as "a true dream of a museum worker". According to her, it allows to rediscover the personality of Edgars Račevskis, who would have turned 90 on July 11.
