Speed reduced on P80 Tīnūži–Koknese highway due to roadworks
State Police announce a temporary speed limit reduction on three sections of the P80 road because of construction work.
The State Police have announced that the speed limit has been temporarily reduced on three sections of the Tīnūži–Koknese road (P80) where stationary speed cameras are located. The affected sections are at kilometers 13.5, 20.4, and 32.2. Previously, the speed limit on these stretches was 90 km/h, but due to ongoing roadworks, it has been lowered to 70 km/h.
Drivers are urged to be cautious and to obey the temporary road signs installed in the area. The reduced speed limit will remain in effect for the duration of the construction work. No specific completion date has been announced.
