Drivers on the Vidzeme highway face traffic restrictions near Sigulda

The state joint-stock company Latvian State Roads (LVC) has informed the public that drivers using the Vidzeme highway (A2) between Sigulda and Augšlīgatne should expect traffic restrictions.

The road authority is urging motorists traveling through this stretch to take note of the changes to traffic organization and to plan their journeys accordingly.

LVC noted that information about the restrictions is being made public so that drivers can prepare in advance and, if needed, choose a more suitable travel time or alternative route.
