German magazine "Der Spiegel" reported on Wednesday that three people suspected of planning an attack on a drone factory in Slovakia are citizens of Latvia and Ukraine. One Latvian citizen was detained in Hamburg, while another Latvian citizen and a Ukrainian citizen were detained in Slovakia.

Arson attempt foiled

Slovakia's Directorate for Combating Organized Crime announced on Tuesday that it had thwarted an attempted arson attack at a drone manufacturing facility in the eastern part of the country. Three foreign nationals are suspected in connection with the crime.

Items seized

During the detentions, authorities seized a mixture of petrol and polystyrene — a homemade form of napalm — along with tools, phones, an action camera, and a hand-drawn plan of the target site.

The detainees have been charged with preparing, as a group and by prior agreement, a crime that poses a general public danger.
