Signature Collection Started for Mandatory Financial Literacy Course in Universities

A public initiative has been launched on the Manabalss.lv platform to collect signatures for introducing a mandatory financial literacy course in all Latvian universities.

An initiative has appeared on the Manabalss.lv platform calling for the introduction of a mandatory financial literacy course in all Latvian universities. The proposal stipulates that the Ministry of Education and Science, together with the Bank of Latvia, universities, and industry experts, will develop a unified course content. Subsequently, the ministry and universities will decide on its integration into study programs.
