New Audi Q7 generation launches in Germany, priced from nearly €88,000
Audi has introduced an all-new Q7 generation on the German market, featuring diesel hybrid engines and updated technology, with prices starting around €87,900. A more premium Q9 model is promised to follow.
Audi this summer rolled out a completely new generation of the Q7 for the German market, now available to buyers at prices starting just under €88,000. The manufacturer has also announced that an even more prestigious model, the Q9, will join the lineup in the future.
Engines and drivetrain
For the European market, the new Q7 currently comes with a 3.0-litre V6 TDI diesel engine paired with MHEV plus mild-hybrid technology. Buyers can choose between two power outputs — 245 or 299 horsepower. Both versions are matched with an eight-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission and quattro all-wheel drive. The hybrid system can briefly add up to 24 extra horsepower, improving both acceleration and efficiency.
Comfort and suspension
Particular attention has been paid to ride comfort. The car is available with adaptive air suspension, while a sport suspension with adjustable dampers is offered for those who prefer a sportier driving style. This allows the Q7 to be tailored either to relaxed everyday driving or to more dynamic performance on the road.
Technology and interior
The new Q7 gains a latest-generation MMI infotainment system and digital displays. At the front, it features more advanced Digital Matrix LED headlights, while the rear uses new-generation OLED taillights that enhance both appearance and safety functionality. The interior has become more modern and tech-rich while retaining the spaciousness and comfort the Q7 is known for. Among the new features is a separate passenger display, allowing the front passenger to use their own screen without distracting the driver.
Pricing
In Germany, the new Audi Q7 with the 245-hp TDI engine starts at around €87,900, while the more powerful 299-hp version starts at approximately €90,500.
