Ukraine's National Guard has signed an agreement to acquire two drone systems, the Linza and the Zoom, that have already proven themselves on the battlefield. Both types of unmanned aircraft will now be manufactured in Germany, rather than Ukraine, where they were originally developed and tested under combat conditions.

Production will be handled by Quantum Frontline Industries, a joint venture between German and Ukrainian partners that combines the industrial and technological capabilities of both countries. The company is currently scaling up output as it wraps up its first full year of production.

The decision to produce these drones in Germany reflects a broader trend in which military technologies developed and proven during Ukraine's war are being shifted into manufacturing in Western Europe. This approach allows German industrial capacity to be used while preserving the technical expertise of Ukrainian developers, gained through direct combat use.

Both the Linza and Zoom drones have already demonstrated their effectiveness along Ukraine's front line, and the agreement signed by the National Guard signals that the systems are now being integrated into a permanent supply chain.

Quantum Frontline Industries' work serves as an example of how wartime innovation can evolve into long-term industrial cooperation between Ukraine and its European partners, strengthening defense-industry ties between the two countries.
