The University of Latvia's Botanical Garden hosted a "Perseid Night" event that drew more than 1,000 visitors. People gathered to witness one of the most anticipated astronomical occurrences of summer — the Perseid meteor shower.
Music under the stars
The evening's highlight was a performance by pianist Reinis Zariņš, who had prepared a nighttime concert specifically for the occasion. The concert was designed to blend classical music with the natural spectacle overhead, letting attendees experience the meteor watching alongside live piano music.
