Over 350 Ukrainian Drones Attack Moscow Region, Killing Three, Local Officials Say
Russian officials report that more than 350 Ukrainian drones attacked Moscow and the surrounding region overnight on July 13, killing three people and injuring three others.

According to Moscow Region Governor Andrei Vorobyov, three people were killed and three others wounded when a Ukrainian drone crashed in the town of Pionersky near Istra, outside Moscow. Five private homes caught fire in Pionersky, and two more were damaged in Babkino, also near Istra.
In Solnechnogorsk, a drone hit an apartment building, injuring two people, damaging a wall, and blowing out windows. In Mozhaysk, a cornice on an apartment building was damaged and windows were blown out.
Scale and Response
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that more than 350 Ukrainian drones attacked Moscow and the surrounding region starting on the evening of July 12. Most drones were shot down “on the distant approaches,” and 50 were destroyed on their approach to Moscow.
Vladimir Region
Vladimir Governor Alexander Avdeyev reported that a downed drone blew out the windows of one apartment in a high-rise residential building in Vladimir. No one was killed or injured. Thirty-nine people, including eight children, were evacuated from the building.
