TV tonight: Ruth Madeley’s new drama and other highlights
This evening’s UK television lineup features the premiere of Ruth Madeley’s five-part drama “The Rapture” about a therapist who returns to work after a life-changing accident, alongside the debut of nature series “Force of Nature” and other notable programs.

It follows Dr. Gabs Fox (Ruth Madeley), a therapist who returns to work at a psychiatric hospital after an accident left her paralyzed and killed her husband. Her first patient is Bethany Krall (India Amarteifeio), a teenager who draws disturbing sketches she claims come true. The cast also includes Ruth Jones, Iwan Rheon, and Jack Farthing.
At 7pm on ITV1, the first episode of nature series “Force of Nature” airs, narrated by Andrew Lincoln. The episode shows two cheetahs in Kenya experiencing a month’s worth of rain in a single day, highlighting the climate crisis’s impact on wildlife.
