Government allocates €80,000 for storm-damaged roof of Bebrene Catholic Church
On June 30, the Cabinet of Ministers approved €80,379 for the repair of the roof of Bebrene St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, damaged by a storm.

The Latvian government on Tuesday, June 30, endorsed a proposal by the Ministry of Culture to allocate funds from the state budget for unforeseen contingencies to repair the roof of the Bebrene Catholic Church. The allocated amount is €80,379 (excluding VAT). The funds are intended to restore the roof damaged by a storm. The church – Bebrene St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church – is a culturally significant building that suffered from the natural disaster. The repair work aims to prevent further damage and preserve the structure for future generations. The decision was made during a Cabinet of Ministers meeting.
