Valka reader: she and her husband eagerly await the paper every Tuesday and Friday
Zinaida Veise, a resident of Valka, says she has subscribed to the regional newspaper Ziemellatvija for a long time. It was where she read about a council building being put up for sale and two closed shops on Zvaigznu Street.

Zinaida Veise, a resident of the Latvian town of Valka, is a long-standing reader of the regional newspaper Ziemellatvija. She described her experience with the paper in a reader feature prepared by the publication.
She says she has subscribed for quite a long time. While she worked in a library, she read the paper there, but now she orders it herself.
What interests the reader
Veise is interested in all the news, including political stories. As a prominent example she names reports about a council building that is being sold and about two shops on Zvaigznu Street that have closed. These stories came as a shock to her, and she says she read about them in Ziemellatvija.
A paper awaited at home
The newspaper comes out every Tuesday and Friday. According to Veise, she and her husband Aivars look forward to each new issue. She stresses that both of them are avid readers of Ziemellatvija.
