Orienteering Game 'Object Adventures on the Roads' Takes Place in Valmiera Region
Until August 29, residents and guests of Valmiera region are invited to participate in an orienteering game that started on Museum Night and continues throughout the summer, allowing exploration of object stories in local museums and cultural sites.
The orienteering game "Object Adventures on the Roads" (Priekšmetu piedzīvojumi ceļos) is taking place in Valmiera region until August 29. The game began on Museum Night and will continue until the end of summer. Participants are encouraged to visit several cultural sites, including the Valmiera Museum, Mazsalaca Museum, Naukšēni People's Museum, Zilaiskalns Cultural History and Visitor Center, Rūjiena Exhibition Hall, and Sēļi Manor. At these locations, they can receive a task booklet and learn the game rules.
Those who successfully complete the tasks will enter a draw for valuable prizes. Winners will be announced on September 3 and contacted personally. The goal of the game is to promote interest in the region's cultural heritage, encourage visits to various cultural sites, and offer active recreation opportunities for families, groups of friends, and travelers. Organizers advise bringing a good mood and a sharp mind to discover the object adventures.
