Flooding and washout close V164 road in Valmiera County
A section of the Ramata–Mazsalaca–Vilzēni–Dikļi road (V164) in Valmiera County has been flooded and washed out, leading to its closure to traffic.

A state local road in Valmiera County has been closed due to flooding and washout damage. The affected route, V164, which connects Ramata, Mazsalaca, Vilzēni and Dikļi, is impassable at its 24th kilometre, near the Jaundreimaņi homestead.
According to information published by Latvian State Roads, the road has been washed out and flooded. As a result, no vehicles can currently use this stretch of the roadway.
The closure applies to the section by the Jaundreimaņi property. Drivers who intended to travel along V164 in this area should be aware that traffic is completely stopped at this point.
