Link to dance community

LETA obtained a message sent by the director of a dance school in the Zemgale region to parents of students. In the message, the director stated that a serious incident has shaken Latvia's dance community, describing it as a reminder of how important it is to talk with children and young people about personal boundaries, safety, and relationships with adults in positions of authority.

The director urged parents to discuss the topic with their children at home as well.

Police have not disclosed further details about the circumstances of the case, the identity of the detained person, or any specific connection to an institution. The investigation continues.
