State Police Search for Missing 12-Year-Old Veronika Markelova

The Latvian State Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 12-year-old girl, Veronika Markelova. The girl disappeared on July 1 of this year after leaving her residence on Latgales Street in Riga and has not been heard from since.

Veronika is approximately 155 centimeters tall, of medium build, with dark brown hair. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing light jeans, a white striped shirt, and white sports shoes.

According to information available to the police, the girl may be in the vicinity of the Akropole Rīga shopping center. Authorities are urging anyone who has seen her or knows of her possible whereabouts to come forward.

Anyone with information is requested to call 112 or 67086678 immediately. The police also encourage the public to view the girl’s photograph, which has been released through official channels.
