Latvian Basketball Player Vanesa Jasa Moves to Italian Club Broni
Latvian national team guard Vanesa Jasa has joined Italian Serie A1 club Broni.

Latvian national team guard Vanesa Jasa will continue her career in Italy, as club Broni announced on Wednesday. The 23-year-old player has spent most of her career with TTT Riga.
Last season, Broni finished eighth in the regular season with seven wins in 20 games, in an 11-team league. In the playoffs, they lost in the first round to Schio Famila, which featured Kitija Laksa.
Jasa played for TTT Riga from 2018 to 2022, making her EuroLeague debut at age 16. In 2022, she moved to Spanish club IDK Euskotren, but was loaned back to TTT Riga in January 2023, where she played the following season. In June 2024, she joined Spanish team Cadi La Seu, then moved to Cypriot club Etha Engomis in December. She returned to Riga in March 2025 to finish the season with TTT Riga.
Last season, Jasa averaged 10.2 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.8 assists in six EuroCup games. She is a five-time WBBL champion and seven-time Latvian champion. At the 2023 U-20 European Championship, she won a silver medal and was named to the tournament's All-Star Five. She debuted for the senior Latvian national team in 2019, played at EuroBasket 2023, and averaged 5.5 points in 2027 EuroBasket qualifiers.
