Two clubs featuring Latvian legionnaires advanced in the round of 16 of the Czech Cup.

Teplice won 5:0 away against second-tier side Tábor. Latvia national team player Lukas Vapne entered the match as a substitute in the 58th minute and later became the second player on his team to take a penalty kick, converting it successfully.

Teplice's squad also includes defender Oskars Vientiess, who is part of the Latvia national team training camp, but he was rested this time as the club saves its strength for tougher opponents ahead.

Zlín cruise to victory

Meanwhile, Zlín defeated third-tier club Havířov 4:0. Midfielder Kristers Penkevics watched the match from the sidelines due to injury.

Zlín remain unbeaten in the Czech top league this season through eight rounds, underlining the club's strong domestic form.
