Vapnem ends four-match losing streak as Sogndal secures victory

The win ended a four-game losing streak for the Latvian midfielder Vapnem, two of those losses coming with the national team in the Baltic Cup against Lithuania and the Faroe Islands. In his second season in Scandinavia, Vapnem has recorded two goals in 13 appearances so far this season.
Sogndal now sits 12th in the OBOS league standings with 15 points from 13 rounds.
