Latvia's Ministry Seeks Explanation from Riga Council Over €300,000 LinkedIn Procurement

The Ministry of Smart Administration and Regional Development (VARAM) has asked Riga City Council to provide clarifications about a procurement involving LinkedIn and valued at €300,000. The request was confirmed by Mudrīte Grundule, adviser on strategic communication to Minister Edgars Tavars.

VARAM is seeking a justification from the Riga municipality for this expenditure. The explanation concerns the circumstances in which the procurement was carried out and the need for it. The city council is now expected to respond to the ministry’s questions on the matter.
