Catch summer by the tail: outdoor concerts across Latvia this August
Several towns across Latvia are hosting outdoor concerts in the final weeks of August, from Preiļi to Mārupe. Organizers note the evenings are already turning cooler.
Although summer is not yet over, evenings are noticeably cooling down, prompting organizers to urge concertgoers not to delay enjoying the remaining warm days.
In Preiļi, performers Intars Busulis and Antra Stafecka will take the stage. In Ogre, a packed cultural program is planned, culminating in a large concert featuring the band Pienvedēja piedzīvojumi, singer Emīlija, Edavārds and other performers.
In Carnikava, audiences will be able to listen to Lauris Reiniks and the band Fiņķis, combined with an eel-themed event. In Ape, Atvars and Edvards Strazdiņš will perform, though this event will require an admission fee. In Mārupe, a full weekend of activities will conclude with performances by Linda Lin and the band Bermudu divstūris.
Altogether, various music events featuring both local and more widely known performers will take place across Latvia during the August evenings.
