Summer Horizon: Andrei Makarevich to link with studio, photo hunters and board games

The show “Summer Horizon” on ETV+ is preparing a new episode for Friday, 31 July. Each weekday programme looks at current affairs in Estonia and around the world through the lens of people’s stories, and it covers topics that can be both light-hearted and serious.

The upcoming edition is set to include three main segments. The first highlight is a live link with Andrei Makarevich. The legendary musician will be in Tallinn and will connect with the studio during the broadcast. According to the programme’s promotion, viewers will have another chance to see Makarevich on stage in the Estonian capital and to hear his conversation with the show’s team.

The second segment focuses on photo hunters. In Estonia there are enthusiasts who call themselves photo hunters. They use a special camera device that is sometimes described as a camera gun – a tool often associated with cartoons and children’s books. Photo hunters will explain what it is like to spend hours waiting for the right moment to take a picture.

The programme will also feature the Tallinn Board Games Club. Its representatives will introduce ways to make the most of leisure time. Summer is often linked with travel, cottages, meetings with friends and family evenings, but board games can offer another enjoyable option. Club members will show what kinds of games can fill the evening.
