Summer Parasport Day in Riga brings together people with mobility and visual impairments

On Saturday, July 25, the Summer Parasport Day was held at the Mežaparks sports center in Riga. The event gathered people with mobility and visual impairments from all over Latvia to share the joy of movement and the spirit of competition. Participants had the chance not only to compete but also to explore various parasport disciplines, reinforcing the message that physical limitations do not prevent an active lifestyle.

Now in its 15th year, the event aims to encourage people with mobility impairments to take up sports. This year, as before, the atmosphere was filled with the pleasure of movement and a sense of community, which organizers consider the main achievement. The Parasport Day has become a tradition that demonstrates that sports are accessible to everyone, regardless of health conditions.
