The State Security Service (VDD) and State Police are investigating a fire that broke out last weekend at the premises of the Ukrainian support society "Tavi Draugi". The organization believes it was a deliberate arson involving a break-in.
A fire caused significant damage to the main building of the Ukrainian support society "Tavi Draugi" on Lāčplēša Street in Riga last weekend. The fire affected the organization's office, warehouse, and logistics center. No injuries were reported. The State Security Service (VDD), in cooperation with the State Police, has launched an investigation. The society suspects that the incident was an intentional arson with evidence of a break-in. The investigation is ongoing.
