Time still remains to enroll in a vocational school — additional admissions open until September 30

Even though the new academic year is already underway, the chance to enroll in a vocational education institution has not passed. Numerous vocational training programs still have available spots, and schools and colleges have opened an additional admissions period that will run until September 30 of this year.

Growing interest in vocational education

Data compiled by the Ministry of Education and Science shows that youth interest in vocational education opportunities has grown over the past five years. Since 2020, the number of students enrolled in vocational schools and technical colleges has increased by nearly 4%.

This suggests that more young people are viewing vocational education as an appealing alternative to general secondary education or a direct path toward university, choosing instead to learn a specific trade or specialty already during their school years.

For those who have not yet decided on further education, or who wish to change a previously chosen direction, the additional admissions period offers another opportunity to join a vocational education program this academic year. Interested individuals are encouraged to contact specific institutions as soon as possible to find out which programs still have open spots.
