Health Inspectorate Conducts Inspection at Jēkabpils Hospital

The Health Inspectorate visited Jēkabpils Regional Hospital on Monday following several media-reported incidents and an increase in complaints.

The Health Inspectorate (VI) conducted an inspection at Jēkabpils Regional Hospital on Monday, June 29. The inspection was triggered by recent incidents covered in the media and a rise in the number of complaints received this year, which has already exceeded the total for the previous year. The hospital stated that one of the issues is related to traumatology, but complaints have also been made about other medical specialties.
