A storm swept across Estonia on Saturday, causing widespread power outages. According to Elektrilevi, at the peak around 19:30, over 8,000 households were affected. By 20:40, the number had decreased to 5,752 households still without power.

Most outages are reported in eastern, northeastern, and southeastern Estonia, where 20 teams are working to fix the damage. Additional Elektrilevi teams have been deployed during the weekend, and the control center is operating with increased staff.

The Environment Agency has issued a level 2 thunderstorm warning for most of Estonia, effective until midnight Saturday. Due to high traffic, the Agency's website is currently unavailable.
