Average gross wage in Latvia rises to €1,886 over the year
Latvia's Central Statistical Bureau reports that average gross full-time pay reached €1,886 per month in the second quarter of 2026, up 4.3% year-on-year.

According to figures released by Latvia's Central Statistical Bureau (CSP), the average gross monthly wage for full-time work in the country reached €1,886 in the second quarter of 2026.
Compared with the same period a year earlier, this represents an increase of €78, or 4.3%.
Hourly pay also up
The average gross hourly wage likewise rose, reaching €13.18, an increase of 3.9% compared to the second quarter of 2025.
The CSP figures reflect nationwide averages and are published regularly, allowing quarter-on-quarter and year-on-year comparisons of wage trends across Latvia.
