Drunk Driver Without License Caught in Viesturi
On Saturday evening in Viesturi, police stopped a car driven by a man born in 2002 with a blood alcohol level of 2.84 per mille and no driver's license.

Over the past weekend, police in Bauska municipality apprehended another drunk driver in Viesturi. According to State Police representative Rūta Strautniece-Apaļā, on July 18 at approximately 9 PM, officers stopped a Volkswagen. The check revealed that the driver, born in 2002, had an alcohol concentration of 2.84 per mille in his breath sample. Furthermore, it was established that he did not possess a valid driver's license. Criminal proceedings have been initiated in connection with the incident. Such violations entail criminal liability under Latvian law.
