Over the past year, the company "Pasažieru vilciens," operating under the brand "Vivi," has been conducting its own ticket inspections instead of outsourcing them. Inspections were carried out in nearly ten thousand train runs during this period. As a result, more than 5,200 fare evaders were caught, meaning violations were detected more often than every other train. The total amount of fines imposed is almost €140,000, but only 54% of this sum has been paid.
