Buildings Evacuated in Vilnius and Kaunas Due to Bomb Threats
False bomb threats on Friday led to evacuations of several buildings in Vilnius and Kaunas, Lithuania, including offices of the high-tech group Teltonika.

On Friday morning, bomb threats were received at the offices of Lithuanian high-tech group "Teltonika" in Vilnius and Kaunas, as well as at another office building and an emergency medical department in Kaunas. Police were informed at 11:40 AM via an email claiming that explosives had been placed in two buildings owned by the company. Employees were evacuated, but searches found no explosives or suspicious items.
Police spokesperson Ramūnas Matonis stated that threats were also made against another Teltonika office in Vilnius, which was also searched without result. Similar threatening emails were received at another office building and the emergency medical department in Kaunas, where no danger was found. Police are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
