Wimbledon Women's Final Becomes Czech Affair as Muchova and Noskova Advance
The Wimbledon women's singles final will be an all-Czech affair after Karolina Muchova and Linda Noskova won their semifinals on Thursday. Both players are in their first Wimbledon final.

The women's singles final at Wimbledon will feature two Czech players for the first time after Karolina Muchova and Linda Noskova secured their spots on Thursday.
Muchova reached the Wimbledon final for the first time in her career, surpassing her previous best performance of two quarterfinal appearances at the tournament. She also has experience in Grand Slam finals, having played the French Open final three years ago, where she lost in three sets to Iga Swiatek.
Noskova, ranked 12th in the WTA rankings, defeated Ukraine's Marta Kostyuk (WTA 13th) 6-4, 6-4 in the semifinals. This will be her first Grand Slam final. Her previous best at Wimbledon was reaching the fourth round last year, while her best Grand Slam singles result was a quarterfinal at the 2024 Australian Open.
