Austria Wien thrash Paks in friendly before Conference League tie with Liepāja
Austria Wien thrashed Paks 4-1 in a friendly, setting up for their Conference League qualifier against Latvian side Liepāja.

Austria Wien completed their pre-season preparations with a convincing 4-1 victory over Hungarian club Paks on Tuesday. The Austrian side, which finished fourth in the Bundesliga, scored through Saner Saljić, Manfred Fischer, Moritz Wels, and Julian Hettwer.
Earlier this summer, Wien also registered a 4-0 win over regional side Parndorf, with two goals from 18-year-old Vasilije Marković, and drew 1-1 with Debrecen and Dunajská Streda.
Both teams will now turn their attention to the UEFA Conference League second qualifying round. Austria Wien will travel to Latvia to face Liepāja on Thursday, July 23, at 18:00 local time in Jūrmala. Meanwhile, Paks will host Greek giants Panathinaikos at home.
