Vogelsang and BeTEC Merge: Joint Brand Vogelsang BeTEC Debuts in Poland
Germany's Vogelsang and Slovenia's BeTEC have joined forces in slurry applicator equipment. The joint Vogelsang BeTEC brand was shown for the first time anywhere at the Agro Show 2026 farm machinery fair in Poland.
German company Vogelsang and Slovenian manufacturer BeTEC, both of which make slurry applicators (machines that spread liquid manure on fields), have begun operating jointly. At the Agro Show 2026 agricultural machinery fair in Bednary, in Poland's Greater Poland region, the new Vogelsang BeTEC brand was presented publicly for the first time anywhere in the world. The move matters because two leading players in the segment are combining, giving farmers and contractors a broader range of equipment.
Division of roles
The strategic joint venture took effect on 1 September. BeTEC is responsible for design, production and technical development, while Vogelsang keeps sales and after-sales service in Germany and the rest of Europe, except Slovenia. Production is planned to be concentrated in Slovenia in future. According to Hubert Schmidt, Vogelsang's international sales director, all applicators will in future be sold under the new Vogelsang BeTEC company name.
Two product lines
The range is split into two lines. The green line is based on BeTEC solutions and is the more economical option, while the red line uses Vogelsang designs and offers more configuration options. Both are available in the same working widths. The fair featured a 12-metre green applicator, with its frame and injection tines from BeTEC and a hydraulic section modified by Vogelsang. The BlackBird GreenLine with OptiCut distributors had a list price of €39,200 and a fair price of €31,360.
The second exhibit was the 24-metre Vogelsang BeTEC BlackBird RedLine. It has a section shut-off system that reduces working width from 24 to 18 metres, and arms that can be raised independently to pass an obstacle. It was displayed with a 24,000-litre tank priced at €118,500.
Other products and anniversary
The stand also showed a mobile slurry separator that divides solid and liquid fractions, as well as several Vogelsang pumps. Vogelsang's Polish branch marked 20 years of operation and employs 23 people. The companies plan new machines in the coming months and the construction of a new joint factory in Slovenia.
