Latvia's women's national volleyball team played its second group-stage match at the European Championship in Istanbul on Monday, August 23, and suffered another defeat, this time against Germany.
The match ended 1:3 (15:25, 18:25, 25:13, 15:25). Although the team did not secure a win, there was visible progress — the Latvian players won a set for the first time in this tournament, taking the third set convincingly at 25:13.
