Vucevic Returns to Orlando Magic After Five-Year Absence
Montenegrin center Nikola Vucevic has signed a one-year, $3.9 million contract with the Orlando Magic, turning down more lucrative offers to rejoin the team where he spent the first nine seasons of his career.

According to ESPN insider Shams Charania, veteran center Nikola Vucevic has agreed to a one-year deal worth $3.9 million with the Orlando Magic. Vucevic previously played for the Magic from 2012 to 2021 and has maintained his residence in Orlando during offseasons, despite playing for other teams. He reportedly rejected several more lucrative offers to return to the Florida franchise.
Last season, the 35-year-old Montenegrin started with the Chicago Bulls before being traded to the Boston Celtics. Over 64 games, he averaged 15.1 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 3.3 assists. Vucevic has also played for the Philadelphia 76ers earlier in his NBA career.
