Warriors Aim to Acquire Davis and Sign James in Trade
Golden State Warriors reportedly interested in trading for Anthony Davis and signing LeBron James.

The Golden State Warriors, who had Latvian Kristaps Porzingis on their roster last season, are planning major roster changes. According to Yahoo! Sports' Kevin O'Connor, the Warriors want to trade for Washington Wizards power forward Anthony Davis. The deal would require including Jimmy Butler, who is recovering from a torn ACL and will earn $57 million next season, as well as future draft capital: the Warriors currently have two future first-round picks and four pick swap options.
This potential trade is aimed at attracting LeBron James when free agency opens on Tuesday (1 AM Latvian time). Last week, ESPN's Shams Charania reported that the Lakers have not yet made an official offer to the 41-year-old James.
