Wigan storm to eighth-try rout of Toulouse, climb to second
Wigan Warriors secured their 11th consecutive win with a 48-18 victory over Toulouse Olympique, moving up to second place in Super League.

Wigan Warriors extended their remarkable winning run in the Betfred Super League, defeating Toulouse Olympique 48-18 to claim an 11th straight victory and rise to second in the table.
Zach Eckersley and Liam Marshall were the standout performers, each crossing the line twice. Eckersley's brace took his season try tally to 33, while the result also gave Wigan their 10th consecutive Super League win for the first time since their Grand Final-winning season in 2023.
Bevan French was singled out for an excellent performance, adding to the scoreline with the Warriors' second try. Noah Hodkinson, Sam Eseh and Jai Field also crossed for tries as Wigan piled on the points.
Toulouse were far from passive, hitting back to level the score at 18-18 shortly before half-time thanks to tries from Paul Ulberg, Romeo Tropis and Cesar Rouge, with Rouge also adding the goals. However, Wigan pulled away after the break to secure a comfortable final margin and continue their dominant form in the competition.
